Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to book ahead?

Absolutely yes.
Booking closes half an hour before the session to give us time to get it all set up for you.

We do not take drop in clients - you must book online before arriving at the studio.

What do I need to bring/wear?

For movement practices: just yourself in clothes you can move in and your water bottle.

For sound/unwind; warm comfortable clothes and a water bottle.

For all sessions we have lovely mats, blankets and props and the studio will be set up and waiting for you.

Do you accept MoveGB?

We no longer accept Movegb or any other 3rd party booking agents as to work with them is not sustainable. We ask instead that you support independent business directly.

What time should I turn up for practice?

In studio we ask that you arrive between 10 and 20 minutes before your class starts so you can calmly put all your belongings away and be ready on your mat when practice begins.

The doorbell is switched off 5 minutes before practice starts. The door will not be answered and there will be no access through to reception once class has started. This is to preserve the peace for all.

Do you have lockers?

We do indeed. We recommend you lock them using the padlocks provided.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation policy is 12 hours.

Where is it best to park my car?

Free on street parking is available on Mivart Street and the surrounding roads. We would much rather you come by bike or train though, we are very close to Stapleton Road station and the Bristol to Bath cycle path.

Do you do gift vouchers?

Yes we do - click here to purchase your voucher and a evoucher will be amiled to you. We have a physical voucher you can add into a card too.

How accessible is the studio?

We are on the first floor of the building, sadly there is no lift.

I am new to yoga/pilates/barre - which class is best for me?

All classes are suitable for all people with all different hours of practice under their belts.

In our opinion the teacher (not the style or the class name) makes the practice - hence us choosing our team so carefully. Do not worry about being bendy or touching your toes, some bodies do this naturally and some of us can practice for years and still not be very flexible.
