Hey Mama.
When did you last make time to listen to your heart, and to rest?
Summer often gets us giddy with all the ‘doing’, especially juggling family life, and all the other hats we wear as mothers. Spaces to pause, reflect and connect, to nurture our deeper sense of self, can be tricky to find.
This two hour late-Summer practice is for all those who identify as a Mother, to remember to rest and invite intention to prioritise rest as a part of your self-care rituals.
But what is rest? What does it mean to ‘feel rested’? What type of rest can we be supported by? How can we invite our busy mind-body to rest, what might this feel like, and what fresh perspectives or clarity might be discovered here? We will explore this, and more, together.
From her own explorations, Carolyn is fascinated by integrated and accessible self-inquiry practices that can support us to live with more awareness, self compassion and ease.
Join her to be guided through your connection to ‘rest’ in quiet sitting, journaling, intuitive movement and restorative stillness, for you to shape as you need, because this is your practise, and your quiet space to 'be'. Dip your toe in, or immerse your whole self.
Explore how these gentle, supportive practices feel for you, and absorb inspiration and intention to continue your relationship with rest, both in the moment, and beyond. Every body is welcome, including pregnant mamas, newbies, and all those who identify as Mother / caregiver to children. One free community space is available for a Mama in need.
